The McCartney Family Reunion 2011
The McCartney Family is presently engaged in planning our Family Reunion which we will host on 14th July – 18th July 2011, at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort in Cable Beach.
Early records of the Bahamas McCartney family indicate that the family’s roots are from Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera. From there, the descendents moved through the Bahamas and into the United States. Today, members of this family are involved in every aspect of the Bahamas and the United States with notable names in Medicine, Business, Politics, Banking, Accounting, Insurance, Law etc.
The reunion is the time when we come together to fellowship, reconnect, learn and share with each other. We have held these in the Bahamas and the United States since 1980 where we have had in excess of 500 members and friends attend.
Our reunion is not only a time of fun and fellowship but also an opportunity to support the development of our people and our country.
